Rosa Lee D. Ogle

Rosa Lee D. Ogle age 88 of Bushnell, IL formerly of rural Avon, IL passed away at 12:00 A.M. Thursday December 22, 2016 at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb, IL.  Rosa Lee was born on June 11, 1928 in Bushnell, IL to Russell and Emma Clovis Dimmitt.  She married Charles E. Ogle in Bushnell, IL on June 1, 1947.  She is survived by her husband Charles of Bushnell, IL, 1 Daughter Elizabeth (Jack) Porter of LaSalle, IL, 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Son, 1 Daughter and 2 Granddaughters. 

Rosa Lee served on the Peoria Journal Star advisory board and she was active in United Methodist Women and Women for agriculture.  She danced and sang her way through life. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday December 27, 2016 at the Bushnell United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 P.M. Monday December 26, 2016 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL where friends may call after 2:00 P.M. on Monday at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Bushnell Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Bushnell United Methodist Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Please sign the guestbook or leave condolences at www.martinhollisfh.com.
