Adohnas King Davis, 3
months, of Galesburg, died unexpectedly at 9:26 a.m. Friday, February
17, 2017 in the emergency room of OSF St. Mary Medical Center.
He was born November 2,
2016, in Galesburg, the son of Tieonika Davis and William McClendon.
He is survived by his
parents, Tieonika Davis and William McClendon, both of Galesburg;
sisters, Nevaeh Dillon, Tajhmere Jones, Amelia Gonzalez, Amiyah
Gonzalez, Jadya McClendon, and Jaliyah McClendon, all of Galesburg;
grandparents, Leanne Davis of Galesburg, Damon and Rhonda Hurbert of
Galesburg, and Michelle McClendon of Peoria; great grandmothers,
Shirley Davis and Wanda Reading, both of Galesburg; a host of aunts,
uncles, and cousins, including, Elnora Ward, Danishie Davis, Laneta
and Mark Bean, Tony Davis, Galen Davis, Demarco McClendon, Dominique
McClendon, William Hurbert, James Mason, and Wayne Hurbert; and his
God mother, Sharnae Jackson. He was preceded in death by great
grandparents, Wylie Miller, A.C. Hurbert, and Wilma Egans;
great-great grandmother, Betty Harding; and great uncle, Ronisha
Hurbert.
Adohnas was baptized at
the hospital.
Visitation will be 10 to
11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West
Galesburg Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev.
Toby Carlos officiating. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery.
