Harry J. Blake

Harry J. Blake, 72, of London Mills passed away at 7:20 PM on February 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 28, 1944 to Harry and Dorthy (Allen) Blake. He married Susan Stegens in Peoria, IL December 23, 1994. She survives.
Also surviving are 5 children, Penny (Blake) Hazen of Davenport, IA; , Robert Blake of Peoria IL; Jeffery Blake of London Mills, IL; Deryl Blake of London Mills, IL; Amber Burnett Of London Mills, IL; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Kenneth Blake of Florida and Wesley Blake of Missouri and 1 sister Rita Filker of Yates City, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson Christopher Small.
Harry enjoyed fishing, picking on his guitar, camping and tinkering in his garage. He was a truck driver for River City Demolition for many years and always enjoyed driving a big rig. Harry was a huge family man and everyone loved him dearly. He will be missed by many.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Celebration of life will be held on Sunday February 26, 2017 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at the Blake residence 201 W Main London Mills, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family of Harry J. Blake. Corman Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
