James D. Link

James D. Link, 63 of Monmouth, IL died at 7:58 am Thursday, March 30, 2017 at his home

He was born July 31, 1953 in Monmouth, IL the son of Floyd William and Leta I. (Patterson) Link.  He was raised and educated in Monmouth and Arizona.

James worked as a landscape foreman in Texas for many years before returning to Monmouth.  He worked for Boden Amusements in Bushnell and most recently worked for Warren Achievement before retiring in 2014.

James enjoyed playing cards a Strom Center on Wednesday nights with his friends.

Survivors include his 3 sister, Jeanie Smith of California, Zelma (Mike) Asher of Galesburg and Linda (Ed) Steadman of Aledo; his brothers, Bryon A. (Mary) Link of  Andover, IL; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Irene Lant.
