James M. “Jimmy” Haynes, 35, of Galesburg, died at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at home.
Jimmy
was born on December 30, 1981 in Galesburg, the son of Michael E. and
Leslie J. Webber Haynes. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Leslie Haynes
of Galesburg; his father, Mike (Jan) Haynes of Galesburg; three
daughters, McKenzie and Maza Haynes both at home, and Riley Haynes of
LeClaire, IA; one sister, Lindsey (Caleb) Jones of Gilson; and his
beloved dog, Otis. He is also survived by one step sister, KayDee
(Jason) Nelson of Galesburg; and his step grandmother, JoAnne Rabenau of
Galesburg. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Les
and Shirley Webber; paternal grandparents, Emery and Joan Haynes; and
his step grandfather, Tom Rabenau.
According
to his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and private family
services have been held. No public services are planned. Private family
burial has taken place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Arrangements have been
entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
Memorials may be made for the benefit of his daughters to the James M.
Haynes Memorial Fund at Midwest Bank, 2558 N. Seminary St., Galesburg,
