Jerry J. Jordan

Jerry J. Jordan age 74 of Bushnell, IL passed away at 12:20 A.M. Thursday May 18, 2017 at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL.  He was born on February 3, 1943 in Galesburg, IL to Joseph and Irene B. Cunningham Jordan.  Jerry is survived by 1 Son – Jacob Jordon of Washington, IL, 1 Grandchild and 1 Brother – Donald W. Jordan of Texas.  He was preceded in death by his Parents and 1 Brother Buddy.  Jerry graduated from B.-P.C. High School and later joined the Army and spent some of his duty overseas.  He was at one time a member of the Bushnell Police Department and also a member of the McDonough County Sheriff’s Dept.  He also owned a Gas Station and Wrecker Service, worked as a carpenter several years, and was a barber in Bushnell for 20 years.  He recently owned and operated OK Liquors in Bushnell.  Jerry was also an accomplished artist.  He enjoyed carving, painting, and drawing. 

Jerry’s visitation will be held from 5 – 7 P.M. on Monday May22, 2017 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL.  Masonic services will be held at 7:00 P.M.  Cremation Rites will follow the visitation and burial of ashes will be at a later date.  Please sign the guestbook or leave condolences at www.martinhollisfh.com.
