Andreas Watkins, 2, son of Tiave Andreas Watkins and Dicie Unique
Frisby, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 in the ER of Galesburg
Cottage Hospital.
Ki’Ale
was born January 17, 2015 in Peoria. He is survived by his mother,
Dicie Frisby of Galesburg; his father, Tiave Watkins of Peoria; two
brothers, Zy'merie
McNeal of Peoria and
Kai’Den Yarber-Hardges of Galesburg; maternal grandmother, Angel
Delacruz of East Peoria; maternal grandfather, Lemuel Frisby of
Porter, IN; paternal grandmother, Tanesha Watkins of Peoria; paternal
grandfather, Andrew Drummand of Peoria; maternal great grandmother,
Darlene Delacruz of Galesburg; maternal great grandfather, Ricky
Maltbia of Kansas City, KS; and his aunties, Deela Delacruz and
Aricka Maltbia both of Galesburg, Larri’onna Watkins of Peoria, and
Lanisha Carson of Portland, OR. Ki’Ale was preceded in death by
his great grandma, Dicie Frisby; great great grandma, Debra Hardges,
his great great great grandma, Mary Walker Randall; great grandmother
Mary Katherine Watkins; and his uncle, Rodney Douglas.
Ki’Ale
was a sweet smiling little boy who brought a smile to anyone he was
around. His favorite word to say was “Dicie.” If he wanted
something it didn’t matter what your name was, he would call you
“Dicie.” He loved trains, playing ball, watching cartoons,
especially Mickey Mouse Playhouse, and music. He loved to get up and
dance to the music at church.
Visitation
will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Second Baptist
Church, Galesburg. Going home services will follow at 1 p.m.
Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Arrangements
have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory,
