Sally J. Gray

Sally J. Gray, 79 of Galesburg, formerly of Berwick and Abingdon, passed away at 6:03 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Rosewood Care Center of Galesburg.

  She was born June 12, 1937, the daughter of Basil Fred and Opal Eliza Ray Hoadley.  On June 15, 1957 she married Ronald “Tiny” K. Gray in St. Augustine.  He preceded her in death on April 20, 1991.   She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Roger Gray and Ronald “Kenny” Gray, Jr., one daughter, Pamela Gray, one brother, Don Hoadley and one sister, Betty Whitney.

  Sally is survived by two sons, Steven (Joan) Gray of Burlington, Iowa and Michael (Diane) Hoadley of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; one daughter, Wanda (Gary) Penn of Cameron; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

  She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of them.

  Cremation will be accorded.  No service will be held.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
