A. Vic Bizarri, 72, of
Galesburg, Illinois died at 6:30 pm Friday, June 2, 2017 at Bounce
Back Rehabilitation at Seminary Manor.
He was born February 21,
1945 in Galesburg the son of Archie and Lola Brown Bizarri. He
married Linda Moore in 1965 in Galesburg. He later married Trudy
Brush in 1970 in Monticello, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife
of 47 years, Trudy, of Galesburg; two sons, Tony (Wendy) Bizarri of
San Antonio, Texas and Cory (Michele) Bizarri of Monmouth, Illinois;
two sisters, Della Patton of Houston, Texas and Benita Goett of East
Peoria, Illinois and four grandchildren, Tevin, Alycia, Courtney and
Nate and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his
parents and his brother, Jim.
Vic served in the US Army
stationed in Frankfort Germany.
He worked as an over the
road truck driver for Dohrn Trucking and Roadway for over 30 years.
Vic was a member of the local Teamsters Union. He was an avid Chicago
Cubs fan and a Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed riding his Harley. Vic
loved spending time with his friends and family.
Visitation will be from
4:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West
Galesburg Chapel. Military Honors will be at 7:00 pm by VFW
2257/Legion 285 Veterans Honor Guard at the chapel. A Celebration of
Vic’s life will continue immediately with a potluck at Harleys Pub.
Cremation will follow services. Memorials may be made to the family
to establish a memorial fund at a later date. Online condolences may
