Linda K. Landon

Linda K. Landon, of Henderson, Illinois, died 100 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg. 

 

She was born March 9, 1941 in Galesburg, Illinois to Everett A. and Josephine Brown Harter.  She married Dale Laverne Landon February 22, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois.   He survives. 

                          

Also surviving are two sons, Doug L. (and his wife, Tara, and his stepdaughter, Millie) Landon of Plymouth, Indiana and Jeffrey D. (and Tina) Landon of Galesburg, a brother, Gary A. (and Linda) Harter of Oquawka, Illinois, a sister, Connie Jo (and LaRay) Pruett of Knoxville, Illinois and a step granddaughter Millie of Plymouth, Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

 

Linda was a homemaker.  She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1959. 

 

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg.  David Scholl will officiate.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials may be made to Galesburg Rescue Mission and Women’s Shelter.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
