Anita Louise Mitchell, 68 of Galesburg, passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 12, 2015 due to a tragic car accident. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Abingdon Christian Church. Burial will be in the Avon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Abingdon Christian Church or the Abingdon-Avon Public Schools Foundation.
