Martha Jane Lafferty Mountfort, 88, of Atlanta, GA. passed
away at 4:57 a.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015
at her home. 
She was born April 5, 1927 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of
Harry S. and Dorothy M. (Brown) Lafferty.
She was raised and educated in Monmouth graduating from Monmouth High
School in and later Stevens
College in Columbia, MO.
Martha married Howard Mountfort in Chicago and he died in 1991.
Martha was a Business Consultant specializing in working
with Dental offices. She loved horses.
She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Manry of Atlanta, GA;
step son, Charles (Susan) Mountfort of Huston, TX; 3 grandsons; 1 great
grandson; and her brother, Robert Lafferty of Oquawka, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2
brothers, Harry Lafferty and John Lafferty.
A private family service and burial will take place at
Monmouth Cemetery. No visitation hours are planned. McGuire & Davies
