Robert F. Cirimotich

Robert F. Cirimotich, 75, of Galesburg, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 at home.

He was born July 28, 1939 in Peoria, the son of Tino and Frances (Nick) Cirimotich. He married Ruby Livermore in 1966 in Galesburg. He later married Pamela Alcorn in 2000 in Galesburg.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela, her sons Clinton (Amy) Alcorn of Pheonix, Arizona and Daniel Alcorn (Marci Copeland) of Galesburg and four grandchildren: Sarah, Hannah, Matt and Nathan.

He is also survived by his son Brad (Cassie) Cirimotich; two grandchildren, Thorne Knisley and Logan Cirimotich both of Galesburg; a brother, Michael (Lucretia) Cirimotich of Rockledge, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Antonia (Toni) Cirimotich.

Robert was a tool and die maker at the former Gale Products Division of Outboard Marine Corporation from 1961-1985. He then worked in maintenance at NAEIR from 1986 until retiring in July 2003.

Robert graduated from Corpus Christi High School in 1959. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

He served in the United States Navy for two years and was stationed in Spain and Africa.

Funeral will be 10 a.m Friday May 29, 2015 at St Patrick’s Catholic Church with Rev. William Miller officiating. Prayer service will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday followed by visitation from 5-7 p.m.at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
