Diana Lee Lovitt

Diana Lee Lovitt, 45 of rural Blandinsville, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at her home.

She was born May 15, 1970 in Galesburg, the daughter of Everett L. and Rebecca L. Carley Carnes. She married Ted S. Lovitt.

Diana is survived by her husband, Ted; one daughter, Taylor Lovitt at home; one son, David Lovitt, her parents, Everett and Rebecca Carnes of Cameron; one sister, Christine (Pastor Tom) Smith of Berwick; one nephew Colton Smith of Berwick; and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.

She graduated from Avon High School in 1988. She studied accounting at Carl Sandburg College and Spoon River College. She worked in the accounting department at McDonough Telephone Cooperative for 17 years.

Diana was all about family. She enjoyed boating, camping, cooking, especially trying a new recipe, working in the yard, planting flowers and shopping with Taylor.

As she requested, cremation will be accorded. Private services will be held. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Taylor’s College Education Fund in care of Ted Lovitt, 23045 E 100th St., Blandisville, IL 61420.
