Pauline I. Conant

Pauline I. Conant, age 102, of Richmond, Indiana and formerly of Monmouth, passed away in Richmond, Indiana on May 7, 2015 at 9:00 pm. Pauline was born on August 25, 1913 in Warren County, Illinois and is the daughter of Ernest and Nora Elliott Ischer. She was raised in the Berwick Community and graduated from the Roseville High School and Brown's Business College in Galesburg, Illinois. She was married to John B. Conant on April 16, 1938 in Columbia, Missouri and he preceded her in death in 1977. Pauline, first was a banker at the Monmouth Trust and Savings Bank. After moving to Lawrenceburg, Indiana she was the assistant Librarian at the local library. In retirement they lived in Lehigh Acres, Florida where she was a member of the Community Congregational Church for a number of years. Pauline loved to travel. 

She is survived by her son John B. Conant, Jr. of Richmond, Indiana and two grandchildren. Also a number of cousins are surviving, some of whom are local. She is preceded in her death by her parents, husband, four brothers, and her sister. Cremation has been accorded in Indiana at the time of her death. A graveside committal service and interment of her ashes is to be this Friday at 10:00 am September 25, 2015 at the Roseville Cemetery in Roseville, Illinois.
