Lincoln David Romaine Jensen,
seven month old infant son of Preston Jensen and Jenna Baker passed away in the
loving arms of his parents at 11:20 am Friday, February 5, 2016 at OSF St.
Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.
Lincoln arrived 16 weeks
early, weighing only one pound nine ounces, fighting very hard to overcome all
the obstacles of a preemie. He was born on June 15, 2015 in Peoria. He is
survived by his parents, Preston Jensen and Jenna Baker of Gerlaw, Illinois;
his brother, Carter Jensen at home; his grandparents, Janet (Don Fowler)
Jensen, Amanda (Vern) Baker and Beverly (Jeff) Jensen; his great grandmothers,
Shirley Jensen and Ruth Fowler and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Lincoln
is preceded in death by his sister, Harper Lee, his twin brother, Roosevelt
David and many beloved great grandfathers, grandmothers, uncles and aunts.
Lincoln was baptized in the
Christian faith. He enjoyed listening to his music and watching his mobile. Lincoln
loved kisses and cuddles and was such a flirt with all his nurses. He was very
alert, always happy to be sitting up in his chair to see what was going on
around him. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the
doctors, nurses, practitioners and all the staff at OSF St. Francis Medical
Center for their loving care of Lincoln.
