Thomas E. Norris

Thomas E. Norris, Jr. age 87 of Bushnell, IL passed away on Saturday November 18, 2016 at 1:45 P.M. at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb, IL.  He was born on August 2, 1929 in Mackinaw, IL to Thomas E. and Golda Loudermilk Norris.  He married Peggy J. Boden in Bushnell, IL on January 21, 1951.  Tom is survived by his wife Peggy of Bushnell, IL, 2 Daughters – Zoe (David) Ehlers of Farmington, IL and Lana (Kendall) Herron of Colchester, IL, 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grand-Children and 1 Sister Eula Hoke of Canton, IL.   He was preceded in death by his Parents.

Tom was a member of the Bushnell United Methodist Church and he was a past member of the Bushnell Odd Fellows.  He was also retired from Midwest Control Products in Bushnell, IL. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday November 23, 2016 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL with Pastor Amy Holman officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 P.M. Tuesday November 22 at the Funeral Home where friends may call after 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday.  Cremation Rites will be accorded following the services at the Funeral Home.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Bushnell Rescue Squad.  Please sign the guestbook or leave condolences at www.martinhollisfh.com.
