Bonnie
Colclaser, age 72, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 5:15 A.M. on Monday,
November 3, 2014 at the Heartland Health Care Center in Galesburg,
Illinois.
She
was born on October 29, 1942 in Knox County, Illinois the daughter of
Jack and Garnet Wilkins Colclaser. She attended and graduated from ROVA
High School in Oneida, Illinois.
She
is survived by two sisters, Betty O’Connor of Galesburg, Illinois and
Francis Sandstrom of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one brother, John
Colclaser of Galesburg, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. She was
preceded in death by her parents, one sister LaDoris Davis, and one
brother Bill Wilkins.
Bonnie
worked for various restaurants including the former Toddle House,
Hillier’s and The Kensington. She later worked as manager of the
Galesburg Terrace and finally worked for Motel 6, in both Galesburg,
Illinois and Davenport, Iowa.
Bonnie
loved her family and friends and all of the children that she babysat
for over the years! She was very generous and she was also a huge Elvis
fan and loved anything Tweety Bird.
Cremation
rites will be accorded. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M.
on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes &
Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Rev. Milton Marquith will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 7, 2014 at
the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville,
Illinois. Inurnment will be at the Oneida Cemetery, Oneida, Illinois.
