Patricia A. Wilson age 86 of Bushnell, IL passed away on Saturday December 19, 2015 at the Elms Nursing Center in Macomb, IL. She was born on January 9, 1929 in Bushnell, IL to Viner and Marie (Downs) Swanson. She married Guy Robert “Bob” Wilson in Macomb, IL on August 27, 1948 and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2013. Patricia was the loving mother of one son; Donald (Barbara) Wilson of Bushnell, IL, three daughters; Jan (Wayne) Sissors of Arlington Heights, IL, Marianne (Rod) McGrew of Bushnell, IL , and Nancy (John) Stoner of Belleair, FL. She was the loving and proud grandmother to six grandchildren; Jesse, Scott and Tyler McGrew, Molly Sissors (John Mahoney), Katie (Andy) Harmon and Kyle Stoner. She is also survived by one brother Robert Swanson and one sister Dorothy Farrar both of Bushnell, IL. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters and one grandson.
Patricia lived in Bushnell her entire life. She worked as a CNA at the Elms Nursing Home, McDonough District Hospital and also cared for many as a home healthcare aide up until her retirement at the age of 75. Her joys in life were gardening, cooking, reading and crosswords. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time. A private family gathering will be scheduled at a later date. Memorials may be made to the MDH Hospice or the Bushnell Public Library. Please sign the guestbook or leave condolences at www.martinhollisfh.com.
