He was born June 20, 1958 in McLeansboro, IL the son of Hiram W.G. Sr. and Lilla (Treasure) Brownell. He was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 1976.
Charlie was a chef at Cerar’s Barnstormer in Monmouth for 20 years. He enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include his daughters, Lindsay Brownell of Monmouth and Melissa (Michael) Moore of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Skylie, Lukas, Brenlee and Orion; his brother, Hiram (Pam) Brownell of Deer Creek, IL; sister, Treasure (Greg) Martin of Moline, IL; nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth. Cremation has been accorded. A graveside committal will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 28, at Warren County Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to the Moebius Syndrome Foundation.
