Susan Carol Chandler

Susan Carol Chandler, 61, of Galesburg, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born January 13, 1955, in Galesburg, the daughter of Paul F. and Ruby E. (Gratton) Wade. She married Dan Chandler. They later divorced.
She is survived by her children, Jarrod (and Jennifer) Chandler, Brian Chandler, and Megan Chandler, all of Galesburg; four grandchildren, Chandler Epperson, Callie Chandler, Tori Chandler, and Aubrey Chandler; four brothers, Walter (and Eileen) Wade, John (and Penny) Wade, and Robert (and Sylvia) Wade, all of Galesburg and Bill (and Sheila) Wade in Tennessee; five sisters, Kay (and Perry) Coziahr of Cambridge, Sarah (and Raymond) Mortimer of Monmouth, Frieda (and Tim) Woods of Peoria, and Debbie (and Tom) Canfield and Paula Wade, both of Galesburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Wade; and four sisters, Priscilla Alexander, Mary Viane, Ruby Clarke, and Evelyn Schmitz.
Susan had worked as a housekeeping supervisor at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. She was a graduate of Galesburg High School. Susan enjoyed crafting with her grandkids, scrapbooking, and sewing.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
