Norma June Webb, 79, of
Galesburg died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at her home.
She was born January 11,
1937 in Bushnell, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer L. “Jack” and
Lillian J. Lamb Kelly. She married Frank Gary Webb on December 8,
1973 in Rockford, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are her
children, Michael McLaren, Debra (and Robert) Estrada, Laurie (and
Bradley) McWilliams, all of Galesburg, William (and Carrie) McLaren
of Maquon, Illinois, and Brian McLaren of Michigan; her sister, Ruth
Ann Koster of Dallas, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 24 great
grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter,
Rhonda Sue in 1953; and her brother, John Patrick Kelly.
Norma had worked for
Rockford Memorial Hospital for an extended time. She also had worked
in home health care for different companies for over 20 years. She
was raised in the Baptist faith, attending the Bethel Baptist Church.
Norma enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, and yard work.
A Celebration of Norma’s
Life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at
Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. Jim Ecklund will
officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the
chapel. Cremation will be accorded following the service. Memorials
may be made to the family to establish a memorial at a later date.
