Shirley June Blain

Shirley June Blain, 70, of Galesburg, Illinois died 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. 

She was born February 24, 1947 in Martin Tennessee to Herbert C. and Gertie Bell Markael Reid. 

 

Surviving is a son, Christopher (and Carmen) Vince of Cicero, Illinois, a daughter, Belinda (and Michael) Blain of Galesburg, a brother, Robert (and Jane) Reid of Union City, Tennessee, two sisters, Hilda Riffe of Union City, Tennessee and Winnie Hecker of Union City, Tennessee, 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Anthony Vince, a daughter, Angela Vince, a brother, Junior Reid and a sister, Mary Schmidt. 

 

Funeral service will be 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel.  Deacon Michael Crummer will officiate.  Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the chapel.  Cremation will follow the funeral service.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
