David L. Miller

David L. Miller, 74, of Alexis, IL, passed away at 4:55 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017 at his home.

He was born on October 11, 1942 in Monmouth, IL, the son of Lew S. and Jean L. (Sperry) Miller, Jr.  David was raised and educated in Alexis and graduated from Alexis High School in 1961. 

David worked for many years at the Gates Rubber Factory in Galesburg, IL.  He was a member of the Alexis United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving David are his two sisters; Diane (Nathan) Hageman of Janesville, Wisconsin, and Sandy Brooks of Bono, Arkansas.  Also surviving are several aunts, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Alexis Cemetery, Alexis.
