Lavona O. Walker

Lavona O. Walker age 90 of Macomb, IL formerly of Cuba, IL passed way at 11:51 A.M. Thursday July 13, 2017 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, IL.  She was born on August 5, 1926 in rural Avon, Fulton Co., Illinois to Charles Webster and Iness E. Howe Goodell.  She married Cloyde J. Walker on October 28, 1950 in Havana, IL and he preceded her in death on March 22, 1989.  Lavona is survived by one Daughter – Rebecca S. (Jack) Hart of Marietta, IL, 2 Grandchildren – Jessica and Jennifer Hart and numerous Nieces and Nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Brother, and 2 Sisters. 

Lavona was a member of the Point Pleasant United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday July 17, 2017 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL, with visitation being held 1 hour prior to the time of services at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Cuba Cemetery.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Point Pleasant United Methodist Church.  Please sign the guestbook or leave condolences at www.martinhollisfh.com.
