Timothy C. Roche, 62, of rural
Monmouth, IL died at 6:52 pm, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at his home.
He was born June 21, 1955 in
Monmouth, IL the son of Robert and Carolyn Gayle (Chapman) Roche. He was raised and educated in Monmouth and
graduated from Monmouth High School in 1973.
Tim married Nancy Bear on October
5, 2013 in Kirkwood, IL, she survives.
Tim farmed most of his life; he
was a sow breeder for Fall Creek Farms and Tri Oaks Food Inc. of Oakville,
IA. He also owned and operated a
taxidermy business, Outdoor Memories Taxidermy, out of his home. Tim also was a unique animal farmer; raising
foxes, peacocks, chickens, turkeys, etc.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed line dancing. Tim was a member of Immaculate Conception
Church in Monmouth.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy
Roche of Monmouth; children, Candice White of Mackinaw, IL and Robert E. Roche
of Mackinaw; two grandsons, David White of Mackinaw, and Levi McClure of
Kirkwood, IL; one granddaughter, Macy McClure of Kirkwood, step children, Erin
(Brian) Grondin of Galesburg, Ryan (Kourtney) McClure of Kirkwood; sisters,
Dorothy (Jim) Oaks and Ruth Harlow both of Monmouth; and several nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his
parents and one brother-in-law, Jim Harlow.
Mass of the Christian Burial will
be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Monmouth.
Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Raritan, IL. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday,
August 4, 2017 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home, Monmouth with a Rosary
Service at 5:00 p.m.
