Harlan C. Strange, 69, of Prairie City, IL passed away at 1:40 AM Tuesday April 14, 2015 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center Galesburg, IL. He was born February 12, 1946 in Williamsville, Mo. to Clifford P. and Ollie Mae (Bilbrey) Strange. He married Diane Maureen Rose on December 10, 1965 in Bushnell, IL. She survives.
He is survived by his mother, three children, Andrew (Jenny) Strange of Millington, TN; Andrea (Timothy) Baker of Quincy, IL; Amanda (Jerry) Allen of Bushnell, IL; 10 grandchildren, Jessica (Ricardo) Reyes; Bradley Strange; Cassidy (Hunter) Neely; Kyle Strange; Addison Baker; Mackenzie Wagner-Allen; Morgan Allen; Madison Allen; Melissa Allen; Rocky Walker; 8 siblings, Charlie Strange; Thornton Strange; Shirley (James) Dildine; Anna Waller; Caroline James; Robert (Sonja) Strange; Glen (Kathy) Strange; and David Strange.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sister Freda Fay and Brother Thurman Strange.
Harlan was a family man, a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 PM on Thursday April 16, 2015 at the Prairie City Community Center. Corman Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements. Please sign the guestbook and leave condolences at www.cormanmh.com
