Lawrence "Larry" A. Youell, 76, of Avon, IL passed away at 10:19 PM Friday April 3, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 7, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Meredith and Delia (Griggs Poerschmann) Youell. He married Theresa Wojtasiak on December 1, 1962 in Chicago, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are five children; Wayne (Christine) Youell; Pamela Youell; Shawn Youell; Erin (Jennie) Youell; Shannon Kathleen Coultas; three grandchildren, Alexis, Kelsey and Brandon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.
Larry was the owner and operator of Youell Environmental Services for 35 years, servicing 15 central Illinois communities. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed shooting pool and spending time with family. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday April 7, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with the Father Vitaliano officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday April 6, 2015 at the Corman Memorial Home in Avon with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be in the Avon Cemetery.
