Linda Lou (Worthington) Luper

Linda Lou LuperLinda Lou (Worthington) Luper, 73, of Springfield, IL formerly of Avon, IL passed away at 2:37 PM Friday April 3, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born December 29, 1941 in Warren County IL to John Amos and Mabel Marie (Cross) Worthington. 

She is survived by one daughter, Amy Marie (Luper) Johnson of Springfield, IL; one grandson Anthony Johnson II of Seattle Washington; two sisters, Joyce Brewer of Galesburg, IL; Bernadine (Lewis) Bankes of Ft. Worth, TX; one brother Lyle (Kathleen) Worthington of Little York, IL. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings, Lucille Hagemeister, Kenneth Worthington, Bernice Sutton, Johnnie Worthington, Keith Worthington, Frank Worthington, Lodema Fawcett, Shirley Simmons and Fern Helms. 

Linda was a graduate of Bushnell High School and Canton School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and worked for more than 25 years in the health care field. She was very passionate about the Arts and enjoyed spending time making ceramics, crocheting and painting. Linda also had a love for music, and enjoyed playing the guitar. 

Cremation Rites have been accorded. Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family of Linda Luper. Corman Memorial Home in Avon is in charge of arrangements. Please sign the guestbook and leave condolences at www.cormanmh.com
