Faye A. Boys

Faye A. Boys, age 72 of Galesburg, Illinois died at 8:10 A.M. on Sunday, February 7, 2015 at her home in Galesburg, Illinois.

She was born on August 9, 1943 in Wilmington, Illinois the daughter of Jacob and Dorothy Malek Lawrence. She married Raymond boys in Morris, Illinois.

Surviving are five daughters: Chery (Mike) Lundeen of Altona, Illinois, Brenda (Rusty Sargent) Lytle of Knoxville, Illinois, Shirley (Lowell) Combs of Trenton, Illinois, Verna Humphrey of Galesburg, Illinois, and Rayetta Boys-Eaton of Galesburg, Illinois; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Allen (Pat) Lawrence of Galesburg, Illinois and David Lawrence of Clovis, New Mexico; and two sisters, Shirley Ward of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Verna Parker of Manteca, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Arthur, Calvin and Jack; two sisters, Louise and Dorothy; and many nieces and nephews.

She worked for the Comfort Inn in Galesburg, Illinois and Rosewood Care Center in Galesburg, Illinois in Housekeeping for over ten years. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her kids and family.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Rev. Barney Cummins officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois.
